A Fool and His Money

A federal Judge has ordered a maximum prison term of 3 years for Hollywood star Wesley Snipes which was requested by prosecutors. For 3 years Wesley Snipes failed to file a tax return from 1999 to 2001.

His lawyer has asked to be lenient towards Wesley as he is “a good character”. I have to agree with this statement as I liked the role he played in Blade and it was a decent movie.

Mr Snipes offered to pay off his crime with cheques amounting to $5m. He is not yet in custody and nor is it known when he has to surrender. In the meantime his lawyers are to appeal against the decision as Wesley has asked for probation instead.
