A Fool and His Money

The Credit Crunch and recession has hit Japan really hard, or so I heard from a certain individual and seems like people are going through a lot of tough times in central Japan.

Even the old good paying good jobs have had salary decreased to a minimum. Anime Artists and those who draw for a living have had decreases all the way down to a minimum $2 per hours! Whether it’s true or not, I don’t know.

But one thing must be for sure is that they have been hit hard, most of them. Even before the recession, people were struggling so you can only imagine how their state must be now.

You should be very good at managing your money before you start to earn more. What do I mean by this?

Probably most people out there lose their senses for some time when they start to earn more money than they currently do and due to this, start to spend like crazy and many people ever go into the negative without realising and one night it dawns on them the consequences of their actions.

It’s after this time when people begin to get very depressed and back’s start to call them like crazy and harass them daily.

So, make sure you control your finances and don’t go beyond your limit.

It’s that time of the year where the election is taking place in the UK and many different parties are standing for hundreds of different areas and thousands of different people.

Now I think more or less every political party will probably be saying that they are going to make the economy come back. Why? Because millions of people have been affected by the recession and credit crunch and is a very big issue to many people who have taken loans and mortgages out.

Like I have said in posts a few years back – don’t even think about getting a loan out, It will save you a lot trouble.

Let’s take the example of a Web Development Project.

Say you’re building an e-commerce website for a client. Why should you give this client additional work for free? Simple.

• Client will come back and purchase more services from you
• Client will remain happy with the service and recommend you to others
• Client will have a good night’s sleep
• Client will feel they’re getting their money’s worth
• You feel good for having a happy client

What are the bad points?

• Your manager will say a few words to you…

Will people ever stop blogging on the internet? Sometimes good, quality useful posts and most of the time pointless rubbish!

Well, let me tell you something, this is the fool’s dream. As long as there is money to be made (and trust me, there’s a lot to be made), there will always be enthusiastic blogger who will blog day in day out every day and every week of every month of every year.

So, why don’t you go into the blogging world and talk about something interesting and start to make some good money on the side which will surely assist you!

The fool, yes.

The fool is even more a fool on a Friday as for many it’s payday and it’s also a day for many where they go out and about, partying, shopping, eating, chilling etc.

But what about the fool who doesn’t look after his finances? They go even more crazy and splash out completely and become broke for another week.

Partying takes a lot of finances and if avoided, the amount of money saved will be amazing, trust me. It will be a dream come true for most people.

So, my advice? Don’t be a fool in the first place but if you already are, then don’t be fooler!

Some tips on starting a new business in 2010:

• Before you start a new business in the year 2010 keep up to date with technology
• There have been many businesses that remained very small for 20+ years but as soon as technology increased and they recognised it, with a little work became very big businesses in no time.
• Look at the example of Microsoft – Within a very short time, the founder of Microsoft became one of the riches people in the world

Then again, sometimes technology can be a waste of time. If you’re a fast food takeaway, i think you’re not going to deliver from the UK to Japan…

Petrol Prices are on the increase very rapidly!

I remember exactly 1 year ago when i started to drive that the petrol prices were less than £1.00, yes you read it right, less than ONE POUND!

It’s been a year and now I’m starting to see petrol prices of £1.16 and even £1.19! This is crazy. about 20p increase per litre within 1 year.

So for a working person who fills 40 litre, that’s £8 more a week and about £400+ a year!

And that’s if the prices remain the same. If they go on the increase then you’ll see people buyer less powerful cars…

In the initial stages, when a business is very successful then the owner tends to quickly invest the profit made back into the business without taking time to analyse the situation and the business owner thinks to him or herself that by reinvesting quickly back into the business, more success will be seen.

Now is this correct? Not always.

In many case, a lot of business are very successful in the first month or so but that decreases over time and others are slow at first but catch on very quick later on!

So the best thing to do is to analyse the situation in detail before reinvesting.

Running a Business from Home – Is it a good idea?
A lot of people who have not tried running a business from home think it would be the best ever and are amazed at people hiring offices and shops when they can use their how for their business!
But, is this really good idea?
Only those who have tried it will say no and not will they only say no but go a step ahead and start to rant about it. Why? Because it is a very difficult thing to do with the many distractions around.
