Lasik Eye Surgery and Business. Do they go together?

Well I’m saying yes. Why? Read on…

When you have a business, and it’s one that you know you will keep for many, many years to come. Or you may move from one business to another, i.e., you will stay in business one way or another for a very long time to come, then you should really consider the lasik eye surgery. (Of course, only if you wear contact lenses or glasses…)

Why?

Firstly, Lasik Surgery costs anywhere from £2000 – £5000+ per eye. This is beyond most people’s budget.

If you look around and search for the best deal, you will find you can get excellent surgery for £3000 per eye.

This comes to £6000.

Ok, even then, this is big money…

Reflect for a moment…

A “normal” business man buys a new pair of glasses every year

Now, if you are in business for 30 years, a good pair of glasses, with “good” lenses cost around £200.

So, what’s your point? I’ll tell you:

Let’s do some simple maths: 200 x 30 = £6000

Not only this, but you have to take into consideration, the fees for each new test which will come to about:
20 x 30 = £600

Then you have to travel to the opticians etc. etc. etc.

What do you think? Is it worth it?

Forget the money. The greatest asset you will gain from this is Time. But that’s another story.

Everything i have said above is not established and I personally would not take Lasik Eye Surgery…
