Government “profit” from our tax
I have mentioned the floods before and it seems as though we have been hit once again. Not only by the dirty water last year but also our filthy government. The TaxPayers’ Alliance (TPA) says that the Treasury made £525m from tax payers recouped the repairs carried out to properties damaged in the floods last summer. Only £86m was put into a fund which was to help repair the damage so our government made a “profit” of £439m.
The campaign group with Federation of Master Builders and other groups have come together to launch “Cut the Vat which is to get tax down from 17.5% to 5%.
For a moment i thought that our government is here to help us but i was sadly mistaken. They are here to profit from peoples suffering.
How about a grant for those who have been worse effected?
