A Fool and His Money

Footballers have a very easy life. Sure, they must take part in year long seasons, face the wrath of rival fans, and possibly receive the odd bad tackle here and there, but really, that is all worth it. Financially, footballers receive the most money than almost anyone in the world.

It is surprising really, considering that ultimately, all they are doing is kicking a ball around the field, to help please the public. Some footballers receive from £10,000 a week, to the horrendous £250,000 a week, a figure that many don’t even acquire in a lifetime (i.e. £13,000 a year for a hundred years is only £130,000).
