One big tip and advice I will share with you today.

Many a time, people have to/want to buy some item/asset for business and personal use and end with a possibility of two.

They need to choose between two items. Now, the question is, how do you determine the better of the two?

Well depending on the situation, one is better than the other.

If for business and commercial use, then don’t go for looks and go for that item which you can make the most use of. For example, if you plan to buy radiators to keep the workplace and office warm then you can simply buy a standard radiator which sticks onto the wall and that’s it. On the other hand, you can buy and purchase radiators that can also be used as towel warmers.

So, if you bought the standard radiator, then in future a time may come where you need to also buy a towel warmer – So you would end up paying more.

Thus, if you assess all your needs together in one instance, this can potentially save you and your business thousands in the long run.

If you buying for personal use, then you probably want the best looking one.

Now, by just reading the title, you would probably call me the fool. Correct? Well read on and i’m sure you will admit that you’re the fool.

Now, why on earth would you want to buy a house when there is no guarantee what’s going to happened the next minute? It’s correct that this is a tough choice but think about it, Houses are starting to go cheap compared to what they were, and this price is dropping daily, especially with the desperate sellers out there.

Look at Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Birmingham and the whole of England.

When dealing with houses, flats and living quarters, you have to be very wise as you will probably spend a good amount of your life there.

There are many people who are willing to rent you their home and after some time let you purchase the home at a fixed price. For example, the short term rent Edinburgh has to offer can help you greatly as it’s short term. Once you are a bit well off, you can consider buying a property.

So what’s your opinion? Buying a house from the beginning or going on a short term rent plan and thereafter consider buying a home?

Just a few days ago, I was talking about the credit crunch with one of my good friends who mentioned that house prices are going to fall by up to 40% in the next 6 months. Ok, I think 40% is going a bit far but one thing is for sure that house prices will be falling.

Now, this is going to be a very tough on a lot of people.

I have mentioned in previous posts as to what you can do to increase your house value. One method is to renovate your bathroom.

The bathroom, I’m sure you’ll agree, is one of the most important places in a person’s home and renovating it will increase your house value by quite a bit.

A lot of research has taken place and it has been proven that by renovating your bathroom will, 100%, if done right, add value to your property.

And the cost? It’s only a refurbishment, nothing major and so it’s not going to cost you too much. About £10,000 – £15,000 spent on a bathroom renovation will increase the value of your property by a large sum – especially during the downfall of house prices.

And think about this. The credit crunch may decrease the value of you home but not only this, it will lighten the price of a renovation! Bathroom items will be much less and so, looking on the bright side, the credit crunch may not be such a bad thing after all…
