Many people are of the opinion that getting a car on finance and lease for a period of 4 or more years is better than buying a car out right. Okay there may be some benefits such as the fact that you do not pay a large amount up front but you need to understand that after your time is up or you reach a certain number of miles, you give the car back and that’s it (even though they pay for repairs etc.)

But if you buy a car then after 4 years you can sell the car off and probably get half almost half your money back! So in your opinion, what’s better?

What the heck is this! Didn’t the government say the economy is now healing and VAT has also increased?

As we all know, a lot of the information out there is a load rubbish! So the best course of action to take is to look after your finances and think twice before splashing out!

Otherwise you don’t want to end up in a very bad situation where your finances go out of control.

Look at the big ones. KFC, Asda, Game, PC World, etc. Whenever they open a new store, it’s normally in a location where their competitors are, or a known, popular location.

Why?

Because their competitors have already promoted themselves, thus saving them the trouble, time and money.

Now, is there a better investment than this? No, I thought so. So by using your competitors investment and time, you can go beyond them in leaps and bounds.

Is this regarded as the so-called “Dirty business”.

I’ll leave that for you to decide.

If your company has a staff number of 30+ then you should consider a Drink and Food machine for your company. Why?

This will bring in a lot of extra revenue from staff. Each and everyone of them will make use of this on a regular basis and with making about 20p per can will seem little, in a month, this could add up to hundreds of pounds of profit at a minimum and the more staff you have, the more you make.

Now, think about it, with also a food machine in place, this would triple the income. So what do you think? An investment of about £1500 to begin will be covered within a few months.

Today, I’ll mention a bit about Wedding Planners.

How can Wedding Planners save your business or yourself money, even when you’re not in the wedding business?

Well if you’re a pretty large company, or you’re having a very large wedding (As is the case these days), then trust me, wedding planners will save you a lot.

if you are conducting a wedding for yourself, then 99%, it will be your first wedding and so, you only stand on the advice given by others and what you read in the papers last week.

Everyone wants a wedding to be perfect but in the back of their mind, also want to spend as little as possible.

Well, this is where the wedding planner comes into the picture. By hiring a professional to plan your wedding from step one till the end, you can be assured (Unless it’s a dodgy planner) that at each step of the preparation for your wedding, you will be getting the best for the least cost.

For example. Without a planner, the wedding would cost you £30’000. Hiring a planner would cost you anywhere between £2’000 and £10’000 depending of course, on the size of the wedding.

So for a 30K wedding, a planner would bring this down to about 22K plus the fee of the planner of about 3K i.e., you make a overall saving of £5’000 for your business!

Today, i’ll share one tip with you guys:

Buy stock, goods and assets for your business well in advance.

What do I mean by this?

Around the end of the year (i.e. this time) and after the new year, there are many, many offers around. Buying extra stock and goods in this time and then storing them away for the mid year when prices are high on everything, you can start to sell this stuff for a low price.

What do you think? A simple tip that can take you a very long way.

I’m sure you will all agree.

First an explanation on what Marine Insurance does:

It covers the damage and loss of your ship and goods on board between its journey across the sea.

Now you may ask why this is important.

Im sure you have all heard the recent news where a Greek ship was held by sea pirates (Not pirates as you imagine with a black eye patch and the hook, although this would be cool…). Although released later on, it’s far too risky to let a ship with millions of pounds worth of goods go to sea with no backup.

It is very common in this day and age for ships to get hijacked. Trust me, only major hijackings are reported to the world. If a true report was to be released, I’m sure the world would be shocked.

However, marine insurance is not in the budget of everyone. This is also understood and looking at it from another viewpoint, if you cannot fit it in a person’s budget, then the good on board are probably not worth much and the only importance is the safety of the crew on board.

So what’s your opinion, is it an important factor to consider? Don’t fool the answer.

We have all heard of the credit crunch now and we all know the effects it has had across the globe at a corporate level as well as an individual level.

Why has it had so much effect?

When people and businesses take out loans, they hope the interest rates will remain the same throughout the period of the loan; and plan accordingly. But, as we all know, this is not the case and those individuals and business suffer. Not suffering that lasts a day, a week, or even a month. Financial problems that can potentially last a lifetime.

Even during the recession and credit crunch, you will hear all sorts from ‘Loans’ to ‘Low Loans’ to ‘Secured Loans‘ to even ‘Free Loans’!

Even if your business is doing really well and you think it won’t be a problem. Just look at the world banks. They came down in a fraction of days. Even Google are starting to struggle financially, although they still make a good profit. How do we know this? They have started taking on new staff and using existing staff to fill up new positions.

You can read all about people who have taken loans without considering the consequences and see what they go through in their day to day lives.

So? The choice is yours.

If you don’t be the fool and know what you are doing, then trust me, these chain of corner shops by the big ones will have no effect. Rather, it will increase your business.

The knowledge of Debt Recovery is extremely crucial for most businesses from day 1. Why is this? Many, and I mean, many businesses have gone bust a couple of years into the business due to transactions made within the first few months of the business.

Sooner or later it will catch up to you.

In the beginning, you can manage this yourself but as you business grows, it will be best to have someone else manage this area of the business. this can internally or externally. It would probably be best to go externally first and when your business is large enough, hire a full time specialist.

There is lots of help available all over for all areas in money and debt.

Below are some tips for if you left it too late:

Tip number one: Don’t freak out!
This is the number one thing that breaks bust’s a business. By freaking out, you are just making it worse for yourself and your business

Plan, Plan, Plan
Although you have been hit, and been hit HARD, don’t worry, you still have time, probably a few months. You need to plan seriously and get everything right the first time. Otherwise, say good buy to your business.

If it’s very serious, consult a Debt Recovery Company.
