Buying a paper shredder is not rocket science. You simply follow some basic steps and protect yourself from taking you business down. Ha, that’s hilarious. A paper shredder taking my business down? Yes you heard me right. If the paper shredder is not of a certain type, it will lead to major fraud against your business.
Here are some points to keep in mind:

Sensitive information? Purchase a high level security shredder. - Volume
Do you need a big shredder. - Oil
Keep you shredder in good shape by using oil regularly - Warranty
Look out for good warranty. Paper shredders are known to break down frequently.

You have some good tips. A complaint I hear all to often from people is purchasing a small shredder to do a large job. I also recommend not even bothering with a strip cut shredder. Cross cut is the only way to go.
Yes, that’s perfectly correct. Cross cut not only does a better job, but is far more secure and more efficient with a large load.
I haven’t tested them all but i wonder which is the best out there?
