A Fool and His Money

No one can say for sure that a person is lying to you. This said, there are many (Tried and Tested I assume) techniques that can help identify a liar. These are used in business situations, by the governments, job interviews etc. It’s always better to know a suspects natural body language and reactions to as much situations as possible.

• Eye Motion
  Liars avoid eye contact. Or if they are aware of this, they will keep eye contact for prolonged periods.
• Pupils
  When a person lies, they give an adrenalin rush through their body and so their pupils expand.
• Objects
  Liars like to play with many different items on them such as bags, phones or even hair.
• Tone of voice
  This will be different to their gestures.
• Using your words
  Liars will use the same words you ask in a question in the answer.
• Frequent change of Subject
  Liars get uncomfortable quickly thus the change in subject.
• The smile of the Liar
  A true smile uses all the muscles on the face.
• Hiding hands
  Liars like to hide their hands from sight.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

A person could show all the signs of a liar but be the most honest person. Don’t be a fool, keep this in mind
